Mahila Sahayyak Kaksh / Women’s Cell

This is an initial stage for a woman before taking any strong action against the husband and his relatives. An aggrieved women can approach with Written Complaint against her husband and his relative to “Mahila Sahayyak Kaksh” / “Women’s Cell”. The concerned Officers then issue Notice to her husband and relatives to remain present before them. The Officers intervene and try resolving the dispute between them amicably. If the dispute is not amicably resolved then the woman’s Complaint can be further forwarded to the concerned Police Station for registration of the FIR.
